Short definitions of terms relating to AI, the mental health care record and regulation.
Terms
Case formulation
A coherent description of the client's problem, the factors that explain and maintain it, and what that means for treatment. The format differs per paradigm.
Lead practitioner (regiebehandelaar)
The clinician in Dutch mental health care (GGZ) who is responsible for a client's treatment process, even when colleagues deliver part of the treatment.
NEN 7513 logging
Recording who viewed or changed which record and when, in accordance with the NEN 7513 standard.
MDR class IIa
Risk class under the European Medical Devices Regulation (2017/745). Software that provides information for diagnostic or therapeutic decisions falls under class IIa or higher (Annex VIII, Rule 11).
Draft report
A report that Notal Care prepares after the session and that the clinician reads, edits and approves. Nothing enters the record without approval.
